Imperfect Match by Corinne Michaels & Melanie Harlow

Another sweet read from two of my favorite authors, and when they get together to write...I get excited. Both are masters of the angsty, contemporary romance that I love to read, but this one was a little different. Low on the angst (some sprinkles of it) and more on the rom-com, best friends to more vibe. Did that make me love it any less? No. These two could write a story about a damn frog and pig and I would be all over it. Sweet, funny, with a touch of heat that makes it all work. Can't wait for these two to write their next one. SIGN ME UP!

Pretty Reckless by L.J. Shen

Insanely addictive, corrupt, vindictive, ice cold, completely emotional and told with a flair for the extreme in a way only LJ Shen can deliver. A view into the elite that leaves all exposed, raw, real and so damaged you don't know where to hang your alliances. Totholes with gaping cracks in their hearts that only themselves can heal. I loved every fucking second of this book.

Eleanor & Grey by Brittainy C. Cherry

I just finished my very favorite book of the year. It’s one of the best books I’ve ever read. I’m speechless, and completely overwhelmed by the beauty of this story. Your heart will bleed, hurt, soar, connect and completely fall head over heels for both characters in a way that will stay with you much longer than you expect. These characters are simply alive with their love, friendship and tragedies that seem to plague them. The family that is formed the connections that have never severed. All of it. Every word. Owns a piece of my heart now. This book was completely awe inspiring for me. Ms. Cherry has a way with words that transcends not through your eyes but straight to your soul. It's seriously crazy. I felt this book. The story hasn't left me. It never will. READ THIS BOOK!!

Addicted. I could not stop reading this book. The tension and palpable attraction, the not knowing exactly what transpired to put everyone in such hateful places...it all equaled to an incredibly unputdownable romance, with mystery to boot. Every word. Action. Look. Shared moment kept me entranced and waiting...wanting for more. As always Ms Scott took me on an incredible journey of love, dislike, family, friendship and trust that I absolutely connected with!

Hook Shot by Kennedy Ryan

ALL THE STARS

I have tried MULTIPLE times to convey, articulate or simply put into a review how the words that Ms. Ryan pens to paper can actually make you feel. It is impossible to understand unless you experience it. I read and LOVE romance every day. I enjoy stories, I laugh, cry, swoon, love, you know all of it BUT then I read a Kennedy Ryan book and I LIVE. I feel the emotions, the love, hate, hurt, joy, jealousy, nervousness, energy like it's my own. She makes words dance off the page and intertwine into the fabric of you as a reader and more importantly as a person. The intimacy is so subtle and powerful it connects and can honestly shake you to the core. Again, it's hard to articulate but it's amazing to witness and feel. This book was beautifully honest, incredibly brutal, and made heroes of both Kenan and Lotus, their love and friendship was true, and solid. Their unselfishness was inspiring and I couldn't read it fast enough. Thank you Ms. Ryan for your craft. It is truly appreciated. There are not enough stars in the sky or letters in the alphabet to fully convey the love I have for this story. Beautifully told, timeless, love story that I can’t not say enough about.  READ THIS BOOK.
