The Wrong Blaze by Meagan Brandy

Trust...it's a deal-breaker of sorts, but knowing and trusting in an author to take a hard, back and forth story, and allow your fragile, just want to escape heart in the hands of someone else, is...well difficult. I found trust came in very handy as I read this one...at times I was so discouraged in the people surrounding me (fictional of course) that I wanted to scream, but the entire time I thought this will be part of the journey. I trust that the heart flutters, gasps and heart palpation's were all a part of what made this SUCH an addicting, fast paced story that I literally could not read it fast enough.

Ms. Brandy has quickly cemented herself as a go-to author. Her males are strong willed a-holes with hearts of gold and her females are take no shit heroes for themselves. Can't wait for more!

The Truth About Lies by Aly Martinez

These reviews are somewhat hard to write, to articulate how a story not only delivered a one-two punch to the soul, but not give anything away. I don't want to write how they met, their names, how they lived, drew each other in, lied, believed, won, lost, found, hurt, redeemed...or any other word that might be used within a life. I want to implore you to go in blind...to trust the words that only Aly Martinez can serve up, trust that she will take you on a devastatingly beautifully, though hard to read at times journey that will leave you not only screaming to the heaven's for more, but smiling as well.

The master of the duet has done it again. Ms. Martinez has completely cornered the market on quickly capturing your heart and holding it hostage until the next book is released. A hard suffering reader that is truly appreciative of this feeling...the reminder that we are here, we feel, see, want, and will still be around to one click the next adventure without missing out on anything...I don't know if my love for this story has found it's way off of this page...so in case it hasn't and you are thinking..."What the hell is this dumb b***EEEPP talking about?" here you go  I FUCKING LOVE THIS STORY!!!!!! READ THIS BOOK. Don't wait for the next one, LIVE and LOVE and read it. NOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW

Thank you.

Hold You Close by Corinne Michaels & Melanie Harlow

I knew when I cracked open this story I was in for an angsty treat of epic proportions. Two of my very favorite authors that write the most heartfelt stories were co-writing!! I was THRILLED, a bit scared, and fully DOWN to read this one. And let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. Ms. Harlow and Ms. Michaels brought their A game, and I was hooked from the moment I started.

London and Ian were friends first, lovers next, and enemies after...but they were still completely drawn to each other. In a way I don't even think they realized how much they needed to be in each other's lives. Love and hate...such a fine line. Just when you think the line is blurred to the maximum, a life changing moments brings them together for better or worse.

I loved watching them figure out how to let go and love...but I will be honest, there were moments I was SO frustrated with these two I wanted to crawl in my kindle and shake them to the bone. I was literally screaming at these stubborn fools to figure it out! But trusting in these authors I knew...just keep reading and things will play out for the best...double crossies! Hopefully they decide to co-write MORE. Ms Harlow and Ms Michaels came together and created an angsty, family filled tale that reminds us to always follow your heart, it will lead you right.

Richer Than Sin by Meghan March

The intrigue was set when I read the blurb this one...

"She hates me, and she should.I objected on her wedding day."

I was like YES...GAME ONE. But unfortunately for me the connection so far (early on, as we are only speaking of book one) I missed the connection. If I am reviewing this book, not my love for this author or what can come of this story...it just missed the mark for me. The timelines, back and forth left me lacking a true measure of care and want for these two characters. Every time I thought I was getting more, the tense switched and I felt as if I went to square one. That is one of the things I love from this author is her strong heroes, both male and female and these two were weaker and a little more willingly passive for my liking.

To be honest I am more enamored by Whitney's cousin and Lincoln's grandpa's feud, but I trust Ms. March and I know that this series has much more to come and I am so excited to see where we are going. Ms March has set the bar high for her readers and I can't wait to watch these characters strengthen and grow...

Not So Nice Guy by R.S. Grey

Such a cute read. I always love the tenderness and goofiness of R.S. Grey's females and Sam was all that and more. Her and Ian were the best of friends that had an underlying want that was becoming more than either could handle. When the lines of friendship blur, they have to figure out if that more is worth the risk of what they have. As always a quick, easy, adorable love story from Ms. Grey. She has a complete hold on the rom-com world. Auto read. Complete adoration.

It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time by Kylie Scott

Another addicting, somewhat forbidden love story that I couldn’t put down! I loved this one. I always read a book if it's written by Kylie Scott, it's just a given. I also don't have to read the blurb, I just go in. So I had NO idea where this one was headed or what it was even about. The title was intriguing because who hasn't felt like that one to a million times. But what I got was an unexpected love story, older dude, younger girl. Quite forbidden...so kinda hot just on that alone...and more heart than I would have thought. I really fell for the characters and bouncing from the past to present helped me to connect with the why and how. My only regret was not getting a little more from him. I would love to know how Pete felt, where was his head and heart through out the story. It wasn't NEEDED more of wanted by me. The complication from surrounding entities just made the story that much more heady...I felt like I was sneaking out the window with them...I devoured this one and was left feeling happy and sated. My favorite feelings...
