The Final Temptation by K.C. Lynn

I love this series...every time there is a new couple ready for the spotlight I am chomping at the bits to get my hands on it. Cooper and Kayla have been in the background, supporting everyone else's story with friendship, humor and understanding. Getting into the "why" these two work and have just always been, was a journey I not only enjoyed but devoured.

Kayla's humor, determination and all out love for Cooper is one of the reasons you fall hard for her. She loves hard, true and final in all things. Going on a trip to "back in the day" experiencing these two not only being neighbors, friends, but finding their way to the happily ever after Kayla has envisioned for them from the first day Coop moved in...even if Coop saw her first?

Another sweet, easy to connect with story from Ms. Lynn..always excited to read more from her and sad that this part of the series is ending...or is it?

Shoot For The Moon (Black River Pack #2) by Rochelle Paige

This book is different in the sense that you know they are mates...finding out during book one, there is no doubt that these two are bound to be...but the road to get there? It's paved with hot bodied sex, possessiveness, alpha instincts that make all us ladies squeeze our thighs and thank the heavens above for the written word done right.

Loving this series has been easy for me, Ms. Paige has nailed the short, yet still able to connect with characters stories that have me anxiously awaiting the next installment. This is not an easy task...shorter isn't always better (or is it ever??) You get the connection, background, and feelings from each character without being bogged down with too many details...just enough to keep you right in the "know".

Spencer and Eliza were meant to be, but sometimes when you are closed to the idea you can't see what is right in front of your DAMN face...sigh...Spencer! He more than makes up for it, and proves what we all knew from the start, these two were inevitable! Can't wait for book 3!

Life Next Door by J.D. Hollyfield

Wine...hot guy and baking, do you need anything else? Not much...what you do get is a sweet love story with a couple that is not looking for anything but finds everything.

Cece has not had it easy in the love department, and one day what she had moved next door.  Without even realizing it, she was given a gift...the gift of moving on from something that was mundane and stagnant...leaving room for the one day that next door had something new...something male and that some thing was Trent.

Trent was taken in at first sight, tumble and sassy comment.  He moved in to a house that held terrible memories for Cece but he knew none of it, little did they know that their pasts were a little more close for comfort than they realized.  Enter...angst stage left.

Ms. Hollyfield is a pro at writing a quirky, fun-loving, slightly alcoholic lovable female lead, that embodies strength and vulnerability in a way that makes her endearing not obnoxious.  Every book gets better...and I can't wait to read more!
