Thieves 2 Lovers by J.D. Hollyfield and K. Webster
I felt my patience in waiting for Linc and Rey's story was rewarded..I waited only passively aggressively messaging the authors every once in a while. Always ending with an LOL to know I was sort of kidding with my HURRY UP AND GIVE ME LINC, bless your heart messages.. What was my reward you might ask? Well, the story of course. So worth the wait! Linc was EVERYTHING. My only regret was that the doucheknuckle within the story didn't fully get his...I blame K. for this, hello Ms. Dark & Twisted, we needed you in there to torture him just a bit more. But because Linc was enough, you're forgiven. LOL (but is it really?)
These two authors go together like peanut butter and jelly (even if you're allergic). They feed off of each other in such a way that you get the best of both worlds. The banter, background and heart that each one of these books has is what makes it impossible to put down after you start. The connection is felt from the start and only grows through out, making you want for each of them in a powerful way. While humor is still front and center. And the epilogues...loved them. A smile, wild heartbeat and swooning lady bits through out...I truly hope these two crazy kids continue to write together, it would be a shame to shelf this kind of simpatico <---that's a word right? Anywho this series is RAD, and you should all go read it if you haven't. Start with Text 2 Lovers. And you're welcome.

Trust by Kylie Scott
Kylie Scott is a go to author for me..after Lick I was addicted to her stories. But she changed it up in this one, taking on YA and really nailing it. These two kids meet in a terrible night gone wrong and what they share between them because of it is unbreakable.
Both John and Edie have a strength within them that is palpable and has you wanting them to succeed and find their happily ever after because they earned it. Horrible things happen everyday, these two not only know that but pay the price daily from experiencing it. I really enjoyed these two and the journey they embarked on. Firsts, friendships, betrayal, and a longing for more enveloped me from the very beginning. And Edie finding her strength through it all was my absolute favorite part.

The Brightest Sunset by Aly Martinez
Let's just get this out of the way. Aly Martinez is the MASTER of writing a duet..I didn't think it could get better than Retrieval and Transfer but oh no...it could and it did. She grabbed us and held us prisoner with The Darkest Sunrise and then didn't let us go for the entire length of The Brightest Sunset and let me tell you, I've never been a more willing hostage.
Every time I think Ms. Martinez has reached the pinnacle of her writing and story telling she hits you BAM right up the side of the head with a story that is so powerful, emotional and gripping that you have no choice but to sit for the hours it takes to get to the end. The journey of all of these characters will have you clinging to the words, written so perfectly that you feel every emotion in real time. Fighting for them, wishing for them, and wanting to take your kindle and pummel certain characters with all your might. A powerful story of love, belonging and struggle. I can't recommend these books enough. All of this author's words need to be read, but this duet is a MUST.
Beautiful Mistake by Vi Keeland
Vi Keeland has done it again. She has meticulously weaved a story that begins with a great "meet" and flows effortlessly, connecting me with all the characters and their lives brilliantly. She has a knack of telling a story that gives you glimpses into their past while still moving the story forward perfectly. Every time I read one of her books I am completely invested in everyone. This was no exception.
Caine and Rachel had a sexual tension that could be felt from my side of the kindle. A back and forth, does he want her or not, a tug of war sex edition that I could not get enough of. An explosion of want, need and a visceral connection that neither could explain or deny. I devoured this book in one sitting because even though I knew what was coming I had to know how it was all going to play out. As always Ms. Keeland has outdone herself with this one. A beautiful story of love, friendship and redemption. When two souls meet and are destined to be one nothing can come between, not even a beautiful mistake.

Jilted by Sawyer Bennett
I adore Sawyer Bennett, she is an one of those authors that I trust completely to go into a book blind, but what I didn't realize was this was a book two..being me I had to read book one first. Totally enjoyed it and then dove in to Eden and Cooper's story in Jilted. Loved it too. The end. LOL
I love me a good second chance romance and this one was addicting from the get go. A young love that never had the chance it deserved, and hard feelings that came out of a misunderstanding. Small town, big star, old feelings and one house. A recipe for a good time. Add some jealous skanks and what you have my friends is my reading crack! Loved the friendship, the heart, the angst, all of it! I can't wait to read more in this series. Plus did you see the cover, sign this girl up as a cover model fluffer. Yes please. As always, Sawyer Bennett delivers a story that you can connect with, that pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn't let you go until you are completely in love and smiling.

The Darkest Sunrise by Aly Martinez
There are very few authors that I trust so much that I don't even read the blurb before entering into their stories, Aly Martinez is on that short list. SO I entered. I waded. I was cloaked in their darkness and I reveled when they began to find the light. I was intrigued. Connected. All in. Every turn, twist and heart wrenching step they made towards each other had me gripping my kindle with anticipation and hope.
Two souls living in the dark, fumbling to continue and survive but only barely existing. Recognize each other with a look. While fighting to come out stronger, relying on one another. Life happened.

Aly Martinez has out done herself. This story is full of everything you could want from a book. Amazing, heart-pounding, soul-wrenching, funny, with amazing banter that has you completely connecting with all of the surrounding characters. Every emotion you can imagine is tested during this one...and it is SO worth it! Don't read the blurb..just enjoy the journey. You won't regret it.
